Continuing its mission to bring ballet to the people, Ballet Manila took center stage at the Riverbanks Center in Marikina last July 26, 2019 with Ballet & Ballads. The mall crowd which included former Marikina Mayor Marides Fernando and Ramon Magsaysay awardee Ligaya Fernando-Amilbangsa applauded the mix of classical and contemporary pieces that the company performed. The repertoire included excerpts of Sleeping Beauty, In Quest, Sketches of Romeo & Juliet, and Lisa Macuja-Elizalde’s Snow White. Joining them on stage was singer Jade Riccio.
