Offstage: River dance
They just have to keep on dancing! Ballet Manila artists love their craft so much that even when they're away from the stage, they end up busting a move, trying out some steps or at least striking a ballet pose or two.
Shaira Comeros went on a family vacation in Norzagaray, Bulacan. The whole bunch of aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins and nieces headed for the Kanyakan River where the knee-high water was ideal for the kids in the group. Since the place wasn’t crowded, they had a pleasant time exploring the area with trees and limestone formations aplenty. Shaira admits it was quite challenging to get to the place as the path leading to it was rocky. But she says the views made the trek worth it, as did the riverside “boodle fight”- style meal that her family shared. Though Shaira considers jump shots as her forte, the rough terrain prevented her from attempting them this time. So instead, while dipped in the cool, calm water of Kanyakan River, she opted for this static pose – a perfect choice amid the serene environment.
