Ballet Manila brought one of its treasured classics to Pampanga in January 2010. With principal dancers Lisa Macuja-Elizalde and Osias Barroso as the irrepressible ballet couple, Kitri and Basilio, they performed at the Holy Angel University.

The show was organized by the Sibul Ning Aeta Foundation, Inc., a group of concerned Angelenos composed of local businessmen, professionals and volunteers seeking to help the indigenous Pampanga Aetas through educational, livelihood and medical missions.

With its story of a light-hearted romance unfolding amid a medley of colors and movements in a town plaza, a gypsy camp and finally, capped by the wedding in a tavern, Don Quixote proved to be a crowd-pleaser and a successful fund-raiser for its beneficiaries.
