Sep 30 Choreography in focus: The Nutcracker

At the heart of The Nutcracker - one of the world's most-loved ballets - is the music of Peter Tchaikovsky. It is this great composer's musical genius that is being celebrated in Ballet Manila's The Swan, The Fairy and The Princess which will run from Oct. 14-16, 2016 at the Aliw Theater. The "Fairy" refers to the Sugar Plum Fairy - the ruler of The Land of the Sweets - who welcomed Clara and the Nutcracker Prince after the couple defeated the Mouse King.
