Snow White in progress
Watching a choreographer at work is always a privilege. But when it’s prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde on the floor with her choreographer’s cap on, privilege turns to historic. Completing her second full-length ballet, Snow White, she has allowed cameras into the studio to give ballet fans a unique look into the complexities of her work in progress.
The third offering of Ballet Manila’s 22nd season, Snow White will have its world premiere on Nov. 25, 2017, 6 p.m. at the Aliw Theater. Succeeding shows are on Nov. 26 at 3 p.m., Dec. 2 at 6 p.m., and Dec. 3 at 3p.m.
