Elpidio Magat: Soloist

A member of the company since 2005, Ballet Manila soloist Elpidio Magat has consistently placed in some of Asia's most prestigious ballet competitions. He brought home the bronze medal in the Senior Division and the silver in the Pas De Deux Division of the 2015 Asian Grand Prix. Prior to that, he won the silver in the Pas De Deux Division  in 2013, and the bronze medal in 2012 in the same competition. He was a semi-finalist in the 4th Beijing International Ballet Invitational for Dance Schools in 2012. He also placed 3rd in the National Music Competition for Young Artists dance category in 2009. He has taken on lead roles in both the classical and contemporary choreographies of Ballet Manila including Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake and Prinsipe ng nga Ibon in Tatlong Kuwento ni Lola Basyang.
