Step: Attitude derrière 

How: The dancer steps or is already standing on one leg and lifts the other leg either devant (front) or derrière (back) in a bent position.

Tip: As the back leg is lifted, try to keep the knee lifted, feeling as if the knee is higher than the foot. This will keep the back leg open and turned out.
