The joyful royal court engaged in merrymaking is one of the highlights of Ballet Manila artistic director Lisa Macuja-Elizalde’s Sleeping Beauty. In this clip, the younger members of the company are seen dancing with flowers in a scene reminiscent of spring and rebirth. Included in this festive ensemble are the scholars of Project Ballet Futures.

Sleeping Beauty, the third offering of Ballet Manila’s 23rd season will have two shows: January 18 at 6p.m. and January 19 at 3p.m. The shows will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
