‘Snow White’ lead stars before they were principals

Ballet Manila’s Holiday Cheer Series featuring Snow White is in full swing! Led by principal dancers Shaira Comeros in the title role and Joshua Enciso as her prince, the pair has been delivering swoon-worthy performances since the beginning of the Christmas season to the delight of ballet fans.

Once upon a time, however, the pair debuted their respective roles but with different partners. In 2019, Shaira was partnered with principal dancer Romeo Peralta Jr. while Joshua was paired with company artist Akari Ida. Back then, Shaira and Joshua were still company artists ecstatic to land the roles.

In this clip, we look back to that moment when they performed Snow White before they were principal dancers. Joshua is featured with the hunting party while Shaira is dancing with the forest animals in the home of the seven dwarves.

Snow White is on its final performance for the year today, December 29, at 4 p.m.in Aliw Theater. Tickets are available on Ticketworld.
