The choreography of Lisa Macuja-Elizalde

While her journey from a dancer to a prima ballerina has been told and re-told so many times, Lisa Macuja-Elizalde's evolution from a ballerina to a choreographer is a story that is now unfolding and finally being written. What began as short pieces for school recitals has now grown into full-length productions for Ballet Manila's holiday season offering. Her most recent was the successful staging of Snow White - the company's third production for its 22nd season.
