Aug 17 Ballet Manila celebrates "Iconic" pieces in season opener

Arachnida, Reconfigured, Bloom, Ecole - these are but a few of the choreographies that have been part of Ballet Manila's colorful and prolific history. The company's unique repertoire boasts of pieces that challenge the dancers while inviting the audience to explore. These are the pieces that tell the tale of the human condition and its many complexities. These are the tales beautifully told by the Philippines' storytellers on toes.

In two weekends, all these powerful choreographies will come together to open Ballet Manila's 23rd Season. Iconic 1.0 on Sept. 1 and 2, and Iconic 2.0 on Sept. 8 and 9 will deliver the company's seminal pieces in a celebration of its proud history, technique and artistry.
